对话策展人袁佳维：重新定位中国青年艺术家的“一体两面”Dialogue with curator Jiawei Yuan: Repositioning the ‘two sides of the coin’ of young Chinese artists

第八届画廊周北京于5月24日正式开幕，近40家国内外参展画廊与非营利机构带来超过40场精彩展览。为呼应本地艺术语境与国际艺术能量共生繁荣的现象，画廊周北京2024选择以“漂留”作为年度主题。其中，新势力单元延续了对青年艺术家与策展人的扶持，由袁佳维担纲策划，以“风的内侧”为题呼应本届画廊周北京主题“漂留”，着力于当下中国年轻艺术家对全球文化性和中国本土性的“漂留”关系的思考与表达，引出其生态所体现出的年轻特性与丰富面貌。中青报记者专访了新势力单元策展人袁佳维，讲述本次展览中全球文化性与本土性的碰撞，探讨中国年轻艺术家走向海外要面对的问题。（中青报·中青网记者 张诗童 实习生 关旖初）

The 8th Gallery Weekend Beijing kicked off on May 24, 2024, featuring over 40 captivating exhibitions from nearly 40 local and international galleries and non-profit institutions. The Up&Coming Sector carried on the tradition of backing emerging artists and curators. Curated by Yuan Jiawei, The Inner Side of the Wind resonated with the overarching theme of this year's Gallery Weekend Beijing, “Drift to Return”, which taps into how young Chinese artists reflect and express the region's interplay between global culture and China's local identity under the theme of “Drift to Return”, revealing the vitality and distinctive features of their art ecosystem.
