The GBA’s First 2026 Chunyun Train Departs to Kick Off Guangdong’s Spring Travel

At 00:01 on Feb 2, Train K4232 left Guangzhou Baiyun Railway Station for Dazhou, Sichuan, marking the start of 2026 Chunyun in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Carrying 1259 passengers, this is the first year the station handles both conventional-speed and EMU trains. Pre-holiday departures reach 314, rising by 146 year-on-year, while post-holiday services hit 350 with an increase of 158.
