Unitree G1 Robot:The "Crazy" Working Robot
In Beijing's Shijingshan district, a Unitree G1 robot, which spends weekdays on development and weekends working, caught public attention. Purchased for 319,000 yuan(about 44,660 U.S. dollars) by 35-year-old Lei Yonglin, the robot initially disappointed with its limited capabilities, such as waving and turning, controlled via remote. However, its online debut on February 22nd attracted massive traffic and rental inquiries, with daily rents reaching up to 8,000 yuan(about 1,120 U.S. dollars). The robot, produced by Hangzhou-based Unitree, has become a sensation, with its applications ranging from educational tools to entertainment.
