Face | Lyu Yang: A post-90s NPC deputy uses DeepSeek to analyse rowing
Lyu Yang, a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), is also a Chinese rower who won the women's quadruple sculls at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. During China's "two sessions" being held in Beijing this week, Lyu, as a post-90s NPC deputy, is paying close attention to the government work report submitted to the national legislature for deliberation on Wednesday.
Lyu said that the government work report was inspiring and boosted public confidence. She added that through the sports innovation, China has made remarkable achievements in the sports sector. Sports is increasingly being integrated into public welfare.
Born in 1993, Lyu is one of the younger generation. She has been following the Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) application DeepSeek. Lyu said she had already used DeepSeek to search for materials on rowing and was satisfied with the research results. (By Guo Xinguan and Huang Danwei/China Youth Daily)
