"One-Armed Captain" Xu Jingkun Conquers the "Everest of the Sea"
Xu Jingkun is the 100th person to uninterrupted sail at sea, setting off from Vendée, France, circumnavigating the Earth, and returning to the starting point with no external assistance or supplies. He is the highly anticipated "One-Armed Captain" and even more notably, the "First Chinese Captain" to make history.
On February 18th, after sailing for 99 days, 19 hours, 6 minutes, and 11 seconds, he steered the "SINGCHAIN Chinese Dream Team Haikou" into the port of Les Sables-d'Olonne, crossing the finish line of the 2024-2025 Vendée Globe solo non-stop round-the-world sailing race.
