​Asian Winter Games’s curling venue was unexpectedly set up in elementary school

Just two days before the 9th Asian Winter Games on Feb 7, the curling events have heated up. The venue in Harbin is actually a hockey rink of a primary school, a rare occurrence in continental games. This primary school, Harbin Pingfang Nancheng No.1 Primary School, is renowned in China's hockey circle. In 2023, it was awarded the "Cradle of Hockey" title. Three members of the Chinese men's team and six of the women's team at the Asian Winter Games are from this school,andhundreds of rural children have changed their fates.(Photo/VCG)
