Wang Wei, a Laotian international student from Kunming University, has been studying in China for 5 years. Since the operation of the China-Laos Railway, "eating rice noodles in Kunming in the morning and drinking coffee in Vientiane in the evening" has become a reality. Along the China-Laos railway, Wang Wei's study and life have been quietly different.
Before the construction of the China-Laos Railway, Wang Wei realized that with the extension of this railway, the ties between China and Laos would become closer and closer. Learning Chinese well, studying in China, and serving as a bridge between China and Laos are the seeds that she has planted in her heart long ago.
At present, Wang Wei has undergone a transformation from zero foundation to being able to communicate fluently in Chinese during her studies in China. She has completed her undergraduate studies in China and starts the Chinese first China-Laos Joint Venture International Travel Agency.
In Wang Wei's heart, the China-Laos Railway is a link that enables Laotian students, including her, to reach out to China.
