China Unveils Major Science and Innovation Outcomes at Zhongguancun Forum 2026
On March 25, the Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference 2026 opened in Beijing, unveiling four major achievements: new policies for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei international innovation center, an Open Science initiative, China’s Top 10 Scientific Advances of 2025, and the 2025 Global Engineering Frontiers. The policies promote regional collaboration, AI-driven industry, and global talent, alongside the opening of major scientific facilities. Breakthroughs in xenotransplantation and ultra-fast memory chips, along with 189 identified engineering frontiers, highlight China’s accelerating innovation and industrial transformation. The announcements signal Beijing’s invitation to the world to participate in its expanding scientific and innovation ecosystem.
