The 12th Asian Junior Wushu Championships in Jiangyin, China, hosted 467 athletes from 24 countries/regions. Iran's coach stated wushu is popular among youth with large-scale amateur clubs and elite global competitiveness. India's coach reported significant progress: 6 Asian Games medals and 6 Arjuna Awards for wushu athletes.
