Chinese center Yang Hansen became the third China-born first-round NBA draft pick when Portland selected him 16th overall on his 20th birthday. The CBA's Qingdao standout averaged 16.6 points, 10.5 rebounds last season. His pre-draft workouts including with Portland boosted his stock from projected second-round status.
