Young Australians Discover Chinese Medicine through Cross-cultural Education

At Western Sydney University@westernsydneyu, Professor Zhu Xiaoshu bridges cultural gaps by teaching traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) to Australian youth. Through bilingual lectures, acupuncture experiences, and clinical practice, students explore concepts like Yin-Yang and Qi. Zhu integrates TCM with Western medical frameworks, encouraging cross-cultural dialogue. In 2024, Zhu’s team organized international short video competitions promoting TCM among youths, aiming to enhance global understanding through education and digital media.
