Chinese scientists have developed a new type of vaccine adjuvant

The team led by Wang Ji, a researcher at the Institute of Precision Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, in collaboration with the team led by Lu Lu and the team led by Zeng Yingyue, has spent six years developing the world's first novel vaccine adjuvant with antigen endoplasmic reticulum targeting function, which facilitates the"last mile"delivery of antigens within cells.
