Hosting nearly 10 AI-driven materials firms (a third of China’s total), the city leverages youth talent and academic partnerships. Startups like DP Technology use AI models to slash OLED research from decades to days, winning top computing awards. Universities like USTB train 500+ interdisciplinary students annually, while firms collaborate with Tsinghua and Peking University to boost R&D efficiency.
