Deep brain stimulation (DBS) for Parkinson’s disease has achieved unprecedented precision through technological integration. AI-powered systems now enable real-time analysis of patients’ electrophysiological signals, while surgical robots autonomously target brain structures using neuroimaging data. This synergy reduces electrode placement errors in critical nuclei to under 0.2 millimeters-a fivefold accuracy increase over manual operations.
