Shenzhou-23 manned spaceship launches successfully

China successfully launched the Shenzhou-23 manned spaceship at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on May 24. Carrying three astronauts, the craft entered preset orbit smoothly.
Crew members consist of pilots and payload specialists from the third and fourth batches of Chinese astronauts. The team will conduct in-orbit rotation with onboard staff and dock with the space station assembly as scheduled.
