Chinese Students Use AI to Produce National-Style Mini Dramas in 7 Days

A team of 40 students and teachers at Anhui Polytechnic University has been using AI tools to create Chinese-style animated mini dramas. One recent work featuring the legendary warrior Zhao Zilong was completed in just seven days, from script to voiceover.Students design traditional costumes, props and scenes, with AI generating images and video clips. Educators say AI is a “magic sketch pen” that boosts efficiency, but human creativity, cultural knowledge and aesthetic judgment remain essential. Students stress the importance of maintaining independent thinking while embracing AI as an assistant.
