Youth Survey | Young Chinese Are Travelling for Music, Shows, and Experiences

China’s live entertainment boom is reshaping youth travel habits. A recent survey byChina Youth Dailyfound that 77.3% of young respondents are willing to travel to another city for concerts, music festivals, or stage shows. 40.1% said they would spend over 1,000 yuan on tickets, transport, and hotels.

For many young people, performances are no longer just entertainment. They’re becoming a reason to explore new cities, local food, and cultural attractions.74.8% said“performance + tourism”discounts would encourage them to stay and travel locally.
