A new chapter of giant panda conservation begins!

China Wildlife Conservation Association & @AtlantaZoo have signed a 10-year agreement. Pair “Pingping” (male) & “Fushuang” (female) from Chengdu will head to Atlanta, continuing the 20+ year “panda bond” between our nations.
The zoo has upgraded facilities with guidance from Chinese experts to ensure a safe, comfortable home. Previous pair “Yangyang” & “Lunlun” (since 1999) successfully raised 7 cubs—the best int’l breeding record in Europe & the Americas.
