China's Chang'e-6 mission successfully returned 1,935.3 grams of lunar samples from the far side of the Moon in June 2024, marking humanity's first-ever sampling from that region. Deputy chief designer Wang Qiong said these unique samples have allowed scientists to reveal the evolutionary history of the lunar far side for the first time. The mission also carried payloads from Pakistan, France, ESA and Italy, achieving beyond-expected results. Wang added that the national flag on every spacecraft fuels her team’s sense of mission and pride.(photo/Wang Jingxuan)
