Foreign Students Experience Juvenile Justice in Beijing Procuratorate

Eighteen foreign students from Egypt, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Indonesia and Mongolia visited Beijing Xicheng District People's Procuratorate on April 20. Led by juvenile prosecutors, they toured the "New Start Base" — a facility combining case handling, education and exhibition.
In English, prosecutors explained key legal concepts like "No means no" and staying away from porn, gambling and drugs. They also discussed the age of criminal responsibility.
"China's legal system makes me feel safe," said Marwan Mazen, 17, from Egypt.
