Chinese School Moves Class into Peach Blossom Forest

A primary school in Gaomi, Shandong province, took learning outdoors on April 8. Teachers led students into a peach blossom forest to admire flowers, run, play, sketch blossoms, and learn about farming. The hands-on activity helps reduce stress, boost creativity, improve focus, and foster a deeper appreciation for nature. Parents and educators say such outdoor lessons enhance children’s physical and mental well-being, offering a refreshing break from traditional classrooms.
