A survey of 1,334 Chinese youth, jointly conducted by China Youth Daily Social Survey Center and wenjuan.com, focuses on “workplace buddies”—colleagues bonded by shared growth memories without office rivalry. Survey data shows 63.3% receive key emotional support, like listening to complaints and relieving stress, 59.5% get industry info, 58% receive skill help, while 58.5% view them as work motivation and 62.7% feel stronger belonging, easing pressures in competitive, mobile workplaces.
