Jilin’s Ice and Snow Holiday Ignites a Consumption Boom
From December 3 to 7, compulsory education students in Jilin Province enjoyed the province’s first "Ice and Snow Holiday", which does not take up the time of winter or summer vacations. 39 ski resorts across the province offered free admission to primary and secondary school students and discounts to accompanying parents, which drove a double growth in visitor flow and revenue of the ski resorts and boosted the cultural and tourism consumption of the whole province. Many regions in China have launched the same "Ice and Snow Holiday" model, which helps China’s ice and snow industry march toward a trillion-yuan scale, and practitioners expect to build a sustainable industry ecosystem with universal participation through this measure.(Photo/China Youth Daily)
