At the 4th Global Digital Trade Expo held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Kazakh entrepreneur Amir Zhakyshev shared his "spur-of-the-moment" journey to China.
Amir explained that thanks to the visa-free policy between China and Kazakhstan, he bought his plane ticket only two hours before departure, flew first to Shanghai, and then headed to Hangzhou to attend the expo. He said this convenience greatly improves cooperation efficiency between companies from both countries.
"In China, things happen very fast. I've only been in Shanghai (for) a few days, and I'm already negotiating with multiple companies and planning to sign contracts soon," Amir said. He believes this reflects the "China speed" and the potential for collaboration, and it gives him strong confidence in expanding partnerships with Chinese businesses.
Amir was also impressed by the scale of the expo. "The event is huge, and many countries are connected with China through business and other channels. It has a very international atmosphere and shows many opportunities for cooperation," he said.
Amir's startup focuses on game localization and e-commerce-related services. He hopes to leverage new opportunities in digital trade to find more partners. "This is not only a business opportunity, but also a bridge to promote exchange and connectivity between our two countries," he said. (By Zhao Anqi/ China Youth Daily)
