On September 11th, the 2025 World Tourism Cooperation and Development Conference was held in Beijing. Data shows that the global tourism economy has achieved a strong recovery, yet regions like Africa and cities such as Valletta are facing development challenges. Many cities around the world have leveraged digital and intelligent technologies to boost tourism development, and the conference also emphasized that cross-border cooperation is essential for digital and intelligent tourism to achieve win-win outcomes and people-to-people exchanges.
