World Aquatics announced that Beijing will host the 2026 World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m). This marks China's fourth time hosting, following events in Hong Kong (1999), Shanghai (2006), and Hangzhou (2018). Additionally, Beijing is set to host the World Aquatics Championships in 2029.
