5th National College Ice Curling Championship Begins in Harbin

The 5th National College Curling Championship began in Harbin on July 6 and will run through July 11. A record number of 48 teams from 21 universities — nearly 300 participants — are competing in two categories: Group A (general students) and Group C (elite athletes). Events include men's and women's team competitions, mixed doubles, and a newly added teachers' doubles category.

Organised by the China School Sports Federation and co-organised by its University Ice Sports Branch and Harbin Aoyu Curling Center, the championship highlights growing interest in winter sports among college students.(Photo/China Youth Daily)
