“把友情画进瓷器里”——美国青年景德镇釉上彩绘初体验

7月1日，参加“发现江西”2025年中美青年文化交流营的美国青年们来到陶瓷之都景德镇，提笔为瓷赋彩，在釉上彩绘的方寸之间，用色彩描绘心中对中国的感知与情感。

他们中有人画上奔涌的山水，纪念中国之行一路的风景；有人题写“山高水长”，记录与江西财经大学学生的真挚交流；也有人画上卡通人物等流行元素，用年轻人熟悉的符号表达跨文化的理解。一块瓷板，一个故事，文化交流的温度，被他们悄然具象化。（中青报·中青网记者 赵安琪）

"Painting friendship onto porcelain" - American youth experience overglaze painting in Jingdezhen for the first time

On July 1, a group of American youth who participated in “Discover Jiangxi”2025 Sino-American Youth People-to-People Cultural Exchange Camp arrived in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China, where they picked up their brushes to bring color to ceramics. Through intricate overglaze painting, they expressed their perceptions and emotions toward China in vivid hues.

Some painted surging landscapes to commemorate the scenic journey through China; others inscribed Chinese idiom like “Shang Gao Shui Chang” to capture the sincerity of their exchanges with students from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. Still others chose cartoon characters and other pop culture elements, using symbols familiar to young people to convey cross-cultural understanding.

A single porcelain tile, a unique story—the warmth of cultural exchange quietly took shape through their creations.
