The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival, is a major traditional Chinese festival celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. This vibrant festival is a time for honoring ancestors, seeking blessings, enjoying festive activities, and indulging in special foods. The main customs include the exhilarating dragon boat races, savoring delicious rice dumplings (zongzi), wearing fragrant sachets, drinking realgar wine, and adorning oneself with five-color silk threads.
