When erhu combines with rock, Chinese ethnic instruments continue to innovate in the new era

In order to better promote the erhu in the era of the internet and make it more popular among young people, Bu Guangjun, the general manager of Gu Yue Qin Fang located in Meicun erhu Industrial Park, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, collaborated with erhu performer Ma Yunfei, who has one million fans, to join a short video platform for the first time in 2020. Through unique rock and cheerful performance forms, they changed many people's stereotypical impressions of erhu as either sad or tragic. Bu Guangjun said that we should innovate in the process of inheritance and redefine the era value of national instruments.
