OCA Hails Harbin Asian Winter Games as a Great Success
On the morning of February 14, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Organizing Committee of the Harbin Asian Winter Games jointly held a summary press conference. Timothy Fok, OCA's first vice president, lauded it as one of the most successful ever. Hussein Al-Musallam, OCA's director-general, thanked the committee, Harbin citizens, and Heilongjiang Province.
Fok noted that the Harbin Asian Winter Games had only 18 months of preparation time, while large-scale events usually require a 7-year preparation cycle. Despite this, the event still made history with a record-breaking 34 delegations. Some tropical and desert-region teams, like Saudi Arabia's, joined for the first time. Athletes loved competing here, and the event impressed with its scale and service.#HarbinAsianWinterGames #Sports#Chinayouth
