The Paris AI Action Summit highlighted global cooperation and AI governance, with China's DeepSeek playing a key role. The summit saw 61 countries sign a joint declaration on inclusive and sustainable AI, though the US and UK did not participate. DeepSeek's open-source model DeepSeek-R1 showcased China's innovation, offering a low-cost, high-efficiency alternative to traditional AI models. This has inspired European AI firms and emphasized the importance of global collaboration.
