Chinese Pair Wang Zhiyu/Han Yu Win Curling Opener at Asian Winter Games

Chinese athletes made a spectacular debut at the Harbin Asian Winter Games. In the first-round of the mixed doubles curling round-robin, the Chinese pair Wang Zhiyu/Han Yu triumphed over a Kazakhstani duo 11:5, achieving a brilliant start for the Chinese team.
Despite being a newly-paired mixed doubles combination, Wang Zhiyu and Han Yu, both having participated in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, showed great strength. After the much-anticipated victory, they were overjoyed and are now looking forward to winning gold for China in this event.
